Warm Up America – First Meeting
WARM UP AMERICA
Join us as we meet once or twice a month to learn new knitting stitches and do our part to keep those in our community warm.
Warm Up America is part of the Craft Yarn Council. They encourage groups to make up knitted blocks and sew them together to make blankets to be distributed to those in need in the local community. (www.warmupamerica.org)
This is a great way to meet new friends, learn some new stitches/techniques, and help toward a worthy cause.
Materials: Bring any worsted weight, washable yarn and size 8 knitting needles.
